UV DISINFECTION WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS
The light necessary for UV disinfection is generated in special UV lamps. A watertight quartz tube surrounds each lamp. The liquid to be disinfected is passed through the quartz tubing. The gas plasma generated in the lamp emits light with a primary wave length of 253.7nm. This intensive UV light reaches the microorganisms in the water and impacts directly on their DNA. By changing the DNA the cell division of the microorganism is interrupted – it can no longer reproduce itself and thus loses its pathogenic effect. With WEDECO technology it is possible to destroy more than 99.99% of all pathogens in water without the addition of chemicals and without harmful side effects.
UV lamp - Select famous brand Lightsoures with low pressure amalgam UV lamp. The lamp is the low pressure high intensity UV lamp. Preheating improves the lamp lifetime. 254nm wavelength, more than 12000 hours service life. The lamp is operated and controlled by the electronic ballast of variable power output. The UV output is adjustable between 50%~100%.
UV Quartz Sleeve - Specially designed UV lamps are housed in quartz sleeves, which are in turn housed in a disinfection system (open channel or closed chamber). The quartz sleeves not only help maintain the best operating temperature, but also prevent lamps from coming in contact with the water. A quartz sleeve looks like glass, but unlike glass, it is transparent to UVC rays.
Auto-cleaning System - The cleaning system is controlled by PLC and can be adjusted by the operator to the cleaning frequency and number of cleanings (Once / 1 ~ 500 hours). Remote manual or automatic cleaning control can be realized through the operation interface and remote control. The cleaning ring is UV-resistant Teflon and Viton rubber, and the metal part is made of 316L stainless steel. The cleaning ring has a service life of more than 3 years.
Electronic ballast - The electronic ballast is controlled by a microprocessor that provides the operating status of each UV lamp and delivers the information to the control system. With working status alarm signal output function. The internal microprocessor can adjust the output power of the ballast according to the external signal, output the ultraviolet light proportional to the intensity of the input control signal, automatically make a linear stepless adjustment in the range of 50% to 100%, and adjust the power supply of the ultraviolet lamp to maintain Sterilization capacity of sufficient strength and most suitable power consumption. The ballast is placed in the power distribution cabinet and equipped with air-conditioning cooling facilities to ensure the stable operation of the electronic components, and will not cause damage due to weather or sealing reasons. The ballast has a warm-up soft start function. If the lamp fails to start for the first time, it will automatically restart twice.
