Product Description:
The polarity reverse titanium electrolytic cell is utilized in sodium hypochlorite generators. Sodium hypochlorite solution is produced by electrolyzing a sodium chloride solution without a membrane and then diluting it. This technology is suitable for various applications including sodium hypochlorite generators, water treatment equipment, and electrolytic disinfection equipment.
In industrial production, electrolysis occurs with a negligible gap between the anode and cathode. The solution must be kept below 40 °C (achieved through cooling coils) to prevent the unwanted formation of sodium chlorate. The reaction Cl2 + 2 NaOH → NaCl + NaClO + H2O shows how sodium hypochlorite can be obtained by electrolyzing the salt solution. With simple facilities and obvious disinfection effects, the hypochlorite generator is highly valued. Sodium hypochlorite is widely used for disinfecting drinking water, sanitary wares, dishwares, fruits, and vegetables. The anode products comply with the standard GB12176-2000 Class A and have a wide market.
During the process, a certain amount of hydrogen is produced. Fortunately, the designed push-type hydrogen discharge technology ensures that hydrogen rapidly precipitates on the surface of the compact composite electrode and is then discharged along with the rapid flow of the solution.
Preparation of Sodium Hypochlorite Solution
Our company takes several factors into consideration when preparing a sodium hypochlorite solution of a specific concentration. These include the electrode type, electrolytic cell structure, current density, and ambient temperature. Based on these requirements, we continuously optimize the electrolytic cell structure and the structure of the electrode plate.
Design Features
Our design features a tubular tank design with multiple built-in polar chambers. This design has a compact structure in each polar chamber, which helps disperse the influence of stray currents during electrolysis and significantly improves the electrolysis efficiency. Additionally, it has a plate-type bipolar structure electrode group and an optimized electrode plate coating formula.
Each tank and electrode plate is equipped with a production batch and material identification number. This enables us to track the usage of each component, ensuring quality control and easy maintenance. The tank body, flange, water inlet, and outlet are all made of thickened acrylic material. This not only makes the equipment sturdier but also gives it a more aesthetically pleasing appearance compared to normal materials.
With cooling holes and heat exchange packing rings, the electrolyte flow path is further increased. This allows the effective chlorine concentration to exceed 8500 ppm, ensuring a highly effective sodium hypochlorite solution.
The electrode coating is a nano-scale refined grain ruthenium-iridium mixed oxide coating suitable for the chlorine evolution environment. This coating has stronger corrosion resistance and a longer service life.
