Geemblue series electro chlorination system generates sodium hypochlorite where ever and when ever disinfection is required. These lightweight, extremely portable systems are designed for use in rural and/or isolated locations where water purification, waste treatment or surface disinfection is required. Geemblue series electro chlorination system are also used around the world in applications such as high volume potable water disinfection, swimming pools, and industrial water treatment.
Using Geemblue technology, electro chlorination system can produce sodium hypochlorite up to 150 ton per day at a concentration of 8000 ppm. The system are easy to operate, require no special operator training and maintenance is minimal. Geemblue system eliminates the need to transport, store and handle dangerous chlorine liquid/gas or concentrated hypochlorite solutions, which degrade rapidly in storage. These systems are ideal for use in areas where chemical storage creates a risk and/or other disinfectant chemicals are in short supply. Start up investment is as simple as a small tank, table salt and an electric power source. Units can be configured for 220/240 ,380/400 volt, single phase or three phase, 50 or 60 Hz powersystem.
A metered amount of water is mixed with common salt to form brine of required concentration. This is the electrolyte used in the process. This electrolyte is pumped to Electrolyser cells, when DC Current passes through these Titanium Anodes with special MMO Coating, Sodium Hypochlorite solution to concentration of 8 g/L approx. evolves continuously and this is collected in Hypo StorageTank and applied directly or pumped to the point of application at required rates. To maintain the temperature at correct levels, prevent dissipation and get correct concentration of Sodium Hypochlorite output, Brine/ seawater is cooled through a chiller or heat exchange unit.
